Rooted in strength. Honoring every echo.

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here.

I’m Cameron Short, a licensed and nationally certified clinical mental health counselor and the founder of Oak & Echo Counseling. I offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the deep echoes of past experiences.

I believe healing happens in relationship — when we feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is gentle and collaborative, grounded in curiosity, care, and the belief that you already carry the wisdom needed for growth.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for something to shift, you don’t have to navigate it alone. You're welcome just as you are.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one compassionate counseling, tailored to your unique journey, to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or feeling stuck, therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore what’s holding you back and move toward healing.

Trauma-Informed Care

Holistic, gentle support for addressing the impact of trauma — emotionally, physically, and relationally. You’ll have a safe, warm space to explore and heal at your own pace.

Your story matters — and how it’s held matters, too. At Oak & Echo, we approach every session with sensitivity, curiosity, and care.

Drawing from trauma-informed, evidence-based methods — including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — we work collaboratively to help you process painful experiences, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your inner strength.
